Effective date: October 13, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Dink (“Dink,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information about you when you visit www.dinkusa.com (the “Site”) or buy our pickleball paddles, balls, and accessories. By using the Site you acknowledge this Policy. Where the law requires your consent (for example, for advertising and analytics cookies), we ask for it separately before those technologies run.
Who we are: Dink, 5654 Geary Boulevard, 210083, San Francisco, CA 94121. Contact: team@dinkusa.com
Information you give us. When you place an order, create an account, contact us, or sign up for emails, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing address, order details, and the content of messages you send us.
Payment information. Our store is powered by Shopify. Orders, checkout, and payments are processed by Shopify and its payment providers, and your use of checkout is also subject to Shopify’s privacy policy. We do not store your full payment card number on our servers.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers collect your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring website, pages and products viewed, links clicked, approximate location derived from your IP address, date and time of your visit, and identifiers stored in cookies or similar technologies.
We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies in the categories below, and we manage your choices with a consent tool provided by CookieYes. Strictly necessary technologies run automatically because the Site cannot work without them. Analytics, performance, and advertising technologies are off by default and load only after you accept them in our cookie banner.
| Category | Providers | Purpose | Runs before you consent? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Cloudflare; Shopify; CookieYes | Site delivery and security, shopping cart and checkout, and remembering your cookie choices | Yes |
| Analytics | Google Analytics; Mixpanel; Microsoft Clarity | Understand how visitors use the Site and fix problems. Clarity records interactions such as clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement (heatmaps and session replay). | No |
| Performance | Bing UET (Microsoft) | Measure and improve Site and campaign performance | No |
| Advertising | Google Tag Manager; Google Ads and DoubleClick (Google); Bing (Microsoft Advertising); Facebook (Meta) | Measure ad performance, build audiences, and show relevant ads on other sites and platforms | No |
Analytics, performance, and advertising tools may receive information such as the pages you view and the URLs of those pages, your IP address, device and browser details, referring site, and cookie or device identifiers. We configure Microsoft Clarity to mask sensitive form fields. These companies process data under their own privacy policies, and some may use it for their own purposes, such as improving their services.
Your consent record. CookieYes records your cookie choices so we can honor them and show that we did. The record may include a consent ID, the date and time, your choices, the page you were on, and your IP address (which may be truncated).
Your choices. You can change or withdraw your cookie choices at any time using the cookie settings link at the bottom of every page, which reopens the CookieYes banner. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the Site may not work properly.
There is no uniform industry standard for “Do Not Track” browser signals, so we do not respond to them. We do treat a browser-based Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a request to opt out of advertising and analytics cookies and the sharing of your information for advertising. We do not allow third parties to collect personal information about your online activities across other websites over time, except the advertising and analytics providers described above, and only after you consent.
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it as follows:
If you are a California resident, you may have the right to: know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and share; request a copy of it; request that we correct or delete it; opt out of the “sharing” of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising; and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
Categories we collect (in the last 12 months): identifiers (name, email, address, IP address, cookie IDs); commercial information (orders and purchase history); internet or network activity (pages viewed, clicks, browsing on the Site); and approximate geolocation. We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information, and we do not collect information from children under 13.
How to make a request or opt out. Email team@dinkusa.com with the subject line “Privacy Request,” or use the cookie settings link in the footer to turn off analytics and advertising cookies. We will verify your identity (for example, by matching your email to an order) and respond within 45 days. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with your written permission.
Under California Civil Code § 1798.83, California residents may also ask us once a year which categories of personal information we shared with third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not share information for third-party direct marketing.
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including to meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements, and then delete or de-identify it.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encryption (SSL/TLS) in transit, to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the email or by emailing team@dinkusa.com. We will still send you order and account messages.
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you are under 18, you may not use the Site without a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
The Site may link to other websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their privacy practices.
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and change the effective date above. Please review it periodically.
